Fondato nel 2009 a Barcellona, come studio di progettazione, ricerca, produzione e partecipazione nell’architettura contemporanea, AAIMM è diventato in breve tempo una realtà influente con pubblicazioni e sostenitori di tutte l’età sparsi nel mondo. Negli anni, questo giovane team di architetti, vincitore di numerosi premi, ha costruito una rete di professionisti con sede a Barcellona, Dubai e Rotterdam, per dare respiro internazionale ai propri progetti e favorire la creazione di nuove opportunità.
Incoraggiando l’interazione con altre discipline, AAIMM applica un processo in cui confluiscono l’interpretazione della complessità di spunti e variabili legate al progetto, la valutazione dei dati all’interno dei limiti fisici del sito e le procedure per la sostenibilità a tutti i livelli.
Gli architetti di AAIMM hanno partecipato come relatori a diverse conferenze e a congressi, l’ultimo dei quali è l’ International Bauhaus Solar Congress in Erfurt (Germania). In quell’occasione, hanno presentato “Torre Solar / Solar Tower”, uno dei progetti finalisti nel concorso per il Bauhaus Solar Award 2012.
I membri fondatori di AAIMM sono: Alejandro Ribas Mercau (Architect), Angel Cerezo Cerezo (Architect-Engineer), Martin Negri Rodriguez (Architect) and Isacio Garcia Roldan (Architect-Designer).
Who is
Founded in 2009, as a Barcelona-based office of design, investigation, production and participation in contemporary architecture, AAIMM has rapidly become an influential firm with publications and followers of all ages from all over the world. Over the years, this multiple awards winning young architecture studio has been building a network of professionals based in Barcelona, Dubai and Rotterdam to internationalize its own project works and foster opportunities.
Encouraging interaction with other disciplines, AAIMM refers to a process based on interpretation of complex design inputs and variables, data evaluation within the physical constrains of site and procedures for sustainability at all scales.
AAIMM architects participated as speakers in several conferences and congresses, the last of which was the International Bauhaus Solar Congress in Erfurt (Germany). On that occasion, they have presented “Torre Solar / Solar Tower”, one of the shortlisted projects in the Bauhaus Solar Award 2012 competition.
