US-born Anthony Suau won the World Press Photo 2008 with a picture about subprime crisis in the United States. It shows an armed male police officer pointing the gun against a door, to ensure the house is empty: all across the floor there are scattered objects that homeowners left behind, before going away because they couldn’t pay the mortgage.
