The Church of Reconciliation, designed in the capital of Germany by Berlin architects Rudolf Reitermann and Peter Sassenroth, whose inauguration took place in 2000, is built on the foundations of the ancient temple pulled down in 1985 by German Democratic Republic soldiers… the previous church was situated in “death stripe” zone of the wall built in 1961 [Inhabitat].
