Chile > The Family Health Center designed by Humberto Eliash originated from an existing building with central courtyard, finished in 1982 to become the community center of Villa La Reina (Santiago). Situated in the poorest part of La Reina municipality, the Center makes possible to administer precautionary medical care to a population of 38000 inhabitants: it was built remodeling the reinforced brickwork of a quadrangular inner-court structure, with circulation around the perimeter [Vitruvius].
