As reported by UNESCO, tsunami that hit South-East Asia also damaged sites included in World Heritage List. Among affected places there are Old Town of Galle and its Fortifications in Sri Lanka, Sun Temple of Konarak and Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram in India. Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra and Ujung Kulon National Park in Indonesia were injured, too [Clarín].
